Two Promotions At Transamerica Financial Advisors

Transamerica Financial Advisors has appointed two familiar faces to top roles, with the promotion of president Seth Miller to chief executive and of managing director of TFA's RIA, George Chuang, who will succeed Miller as president. Miller has been with Transamerica for 15 years, during which time he oversaw the merging of the firm's three retail broker-dealers. Chuang launched multiple innovative investing programs at the Florida-based RIA, it said, including the Transamerica I-Series. "Promoting from within demonstrates the bench strength of the TFA organization and recognizes the talent and expertise we have in Seth and George. With George taking over day-to-day management of TFA, Seth will be freed up for an expanded role within the Life & Protection organization," said chief distribution officer for Transamerica's Life & Protection division, Marty Flewellen. Transamerica is a full-service, independent broker-dealer registered with FINRA, SIPC and an SEC-registered investment advisor. It has over $32 billion in customer assets with over 5,000 registered representatives.
